Continuing in a occasional series of Ron & Russell Mael appreciation posts. In a similar theme, it does remind me of The Nails fabulous tune, 88 lines about 44 women. Na, nanananana na na. Yes no kittycats this time, although someone’s probably out there humming it.

I didn’t think it was one of the better tunes on the album. I liked Dick Around and Waterproof (The latter of which I thought was very much classic Sparks) more. By the way, have you been following the Giro?

Giro? Bugger it slipped my attention span.
Sorry I don’t like Waterproof, something about it really gave me the irrits, although I’ll agree it does sound kinda vintage Sparks. But extremely annoying.
“There’s No Such Thing As Aliens” is fuggin ace.
A question, when do you think the Maels will re-entry the mainstream? By the 22nd album when Russell is 60 and Ron 66?
At least that will be in our lifetimes ..
